This violet water-based ink lends one-and-done vibrant excitement to relief printing (the art of pressing/stamping an engraved or shaped piece into the wet ink and pressing onto another surface, leaving a unique replica of that design onto a different surface). Suitable for use with linoleum, an engraved wood block, flexible vinyl plate, and polyfoam. Thick paste-like ink applies smoothly and dries evenly, especially when used with a roller. Also applies easily to paper and by hand, and rinses off easily from skin—making it perfect for little ones making hand palm/finger print creations. Water-based formula provides comparable performance qualities to oil-based inks, without the mess! Product conforms to ASTM D-4236. Approved with AP seal per the Art & Craft Materials Institute, Inc.
