Heavy porcelain base measures 6″ x 6″ and includes a glazed finish to prevent chemical seepage. A hole for the removable support rod is conveniently located in the center of the base, and rubber feet are affixed to the base bottom to prevent sliding and/or damage to the work surface. The included aluminum support rod measures 20″ long with a 3/8″ diameter.
