Shearglide Grind Oil is a high speed grinding fluid designed for multi-purpose applications including Side Face and Finish grinding. It is formulated with a combination of synthetic friction modifiers and nonstaining extreme pressure additives. It does not use active sulfur to gain EP properties needed to machine the tougher metals and therefore will not stain the work piece. It also does not use chlorine to gain EP so disposal is not an issue. Shearglide Grind Oil is formulated with special attention paid to improving heat removal and reducing energy demand. Its unique combination of EP and lubricity agents result in improved grinding and surface finish of all metals. Recycling and Disposal Shearglide Grind Oil is readily filterable and lends itself well to recycling. It does not contain chlorine that can lead to ecological problems when the fluid must be changed and disposed of.
