Preferred for early seed starting of flowering annuals and vegetables. This size is great for seedlings needing more time before transplanting outdoors, such as eggplant, peppers and tomatoes. Well suited for step up transplants to larger planting containers as well as direct transplants to ground post frost. Suggested shelf life is approximately 3 months after initial planting. At transplant time, plant the whole pot, no need to crush or tear as the roots will grow through the pot.
