The “MURS16″ series, multi-use radio service antennas are little quarter wave wonders. By using top quality materials, proven antenna knowledge and our patented tunable tip design, we built a pair of dependable antennas you can count on for your day to day communications. Both the MURS16-B and the MURS16S-B are 100% American made with 100% American materials. The core material is solid 3/8″ (9.5cm) fiber-rich, custom blended, fiberglass. Each is hand wound with double insulated 19 gauge copper wire. Our 3/8”-24 threaded base will fit all common mounts and accessories. Both antennas are covered with a static reducing, water-tight sleeve containing UV and pigment stabilizers. A vinyl cap is provided to protect the tuning mechanism from the elements. Available in black with a black tip only.
