Construction applications in coastal environments subject to constant salt fog exposure is commonplace. Our DuracoatXT coating is not subject to limitations on “distance” from an ocean coastline. Almost all other exterior screws in the market note a disclaimer somewhere on their packaging – “not to be used within 5 miles of the ocean and/or coastline”.
