ABS welding rods are available in both straight, 48 inch lengths, or in coils for continuous operation. Coils are typically sold in standard 25 pound (11.36 kgs) coils, but may be available in smaller lots upon request. Staight lengths are also sold in standard boxes, but may be available in 1 pound increments upon request. ABS offers an excellent balance of properties at an economical price point. It has good chemical and stress-resistance as well as a combination of toughness with rigidity and creep resistance. Good resistance to inorganic salt solutions, alkalis, acids, and some oils. Excellent abrasion resistance; electrical properties, moisture and creep resistance. Professional Plastics offers a broad range of plastic welding rod materials and accessories.
