XTR Alloy 43 is a premium 5% silicon aluminum filler metal designed for arc welding aluminum alloys containing copper, silicon, and magnesium. This electrode performs exceptionally well when joining dissimilar aluminum grades, making it a versatile choice for a range of fabrication and repair applications. It features a self-lifting slag system for clean finishes and a stable arc that runs at lower temperatures with minimal spatter or fume. The extruded flux coating is highly moisture-resistant, ensuring a long shelf life even in demanding environments. XTR Alloy 43 can also be used for torch welding aluminum alloys.
