Manufactured with galvanized steel cable totaling at 10 ft in length, this SRL has a fully rotating steel rebar hook at the end for simple and secure connection. The durable housing features a twist-lock steel carabiner grip that prevents entanglement, as well as a grip handle for secure leverage. Also included is the Ironwear 2815 Self-Locking Carabiner for convenient utility. Overall, this SRL has a gate strength of 5,000 lbs, with an average arrest force of 900 lbs and a maximum arrest distance of 54 in, meeting ANSI Z359.14 Class B.
Designed specifically for industrial use, this SRL can be adapted to a wide range of fall arrest systems. It is not approved for use in any non-occupational applications.
To clean, wipe with warm water and pat dry. If there is build-up on the hook or cable, soak a sponge in warm water and mild soap and gently remove. Be sure to dry the cable completely before feeding back into the housing. Avoid submerging the hook in water by hanging on or draping over a sturdy base (so it does not touch the ground) during cleaning. Do NOT machine wash. Do NOT use cleaning solutions such as bleach. Using methods or products other than those recommended above may compromise the quality of the materials, resulting in performance below advertised standards.
