The Klinge 9-1/2-Inch High Leverage Cable Cutters have our expertly hardened high-carbon steel cutting edges that cuts through cables up to 4/0 AWG aluminum and 2/0 AWG copper. 55 HRC cutting edge hardness achieves optimal balance between toughness and edge retention. These cutters are constructed entirely of premium Japanese forged high-carbon steel and underwent state of the art heat treating process so they stay sturdy and sharp over time. Portable profile make these pliers agile in tight spots. Contoured cutting blades are designed specifically for cables to help them maintain its round shape and as a result maintain it’s performance. Please do not use on cables containing steel as the steel element may damage the cutting blades.
